Our Story.

Hi, I'm Faith, the founder of Brooklyns. I started this journey on a whim. As a mother myself, I found shopping for baby clothes to be a real challenge. I dreamed of being the Instagram mom with the perfect photos of my child in timeless outfits, but all I could find on the high street were basic, fast fashion pieces from places like Primark.

One Sunday, while wandering around a boot sale, I stumbled upon a stall selling baby boutique clothing. After a bit of haggling, I managed to buy as much as I could with just £100. I started a small online store, selling everything I'd purchased and reinvesting the profits into growing my business. Slowly but surely, my stockpile grew, and I reached a point where I could sell in person.

I approached my local shopping center about setting up a stand in the middle of the aisle, and before I knew it, I had a one-year contract at The Meadows shopping center in Chelmsford, operating Friday to Sunday. Eventually, I was able to open a retail location and operate seven days a week. But after a year and a half, with rising business rates and the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, I made the tough decision to close the physical shop.

But here’s the good news: After a short break, we're back—online only, and stronger than ever. I'm more passionate than ever about curating the best quality and unique pieces for your little ones. When I say my collection has taken countless hours, days, and months to perfect, I truly mean it. I hope you love it as much as I do, and this time, we’re here to stay.
