Our Story.

Lets start with me, Hi, I'm Faith. I started Brooklyns on a wim, being a mother myself I found shopping for baby clothes particularly difficult, I wanted to be that instagram mum with the perfect photos of my child in timeless outfits, but I couldn't find anything more than Primark pieces on the high street. One Sunday I was wondering around a boot sale and low and behold I found a stall that was selling off their baby boutique clothing, after a little bit of haggling and with only £100 I purchased all I could afford. I then started a small online website and sold all I had brought and starting reinvesting into the business. My stock pile gradually increased and I got to the point that I could sell in person. I approached my local shopping centre about a stand in the middle of the isle; I contracted a year in the Meadows shopping centre in Chelmsford operating Friday - Sunday. Eventually I got to the position that I could operate 7 days a week, so I bit the bullet and opened our first retail location. After a year and a half, with the cost of business rates for small business and the peak of covid, we closed the doors of the shop.

BUT, after a small break we are back, online only and better than ever. I truly have a passion for selling the best quality and different pieces. When I tell you my collection has taken hours, days and months to find the best suppliers I'm not over exaggerating. I hope you love the collection as much as I do, and this time, we are here to stay.
